THE CEI EXAM ACCREDITS THE LEVEL OF SPANISH REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO THE COMMON BASIC CYCLE (CBC) OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BUENOS AIRES (SUPEROR COUNCIL RESOLUTION No. 1197/2018, LEVEL B2).

The certificates CEB (Certificate of Basic Spanish), CEI (Certificate of Intermediate Spanish) and CEA (Certificate of Advanced Spanish) are tests aimed at foreign speakers who need a certification of their Spanish proficiency to include in their work, professional or professional CV. studies.
The CEI is an exam of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UBA, specially designed to assess the ability to speak, understand and write at university. It consists of two parts: a written exam and an oral exam. The written part consists of an oral comprehension activity, two reading comprehension activities and two written production activities, where the applicants read texts similar to those read by those who are studying, write short texts, and listen to a part of a class or conference. . Once the written exam has been passed, the oral part consists of a short interview with a teacher and a short exposition on a given topic on a sheet.
This exam is oriented to your future as a UBA student.
The exams can be taken without taking courses in the Language Laboratory beforehand.
